Grignolino, the Noble Rebel March 26 and 27, 2022 in Grazzano Badoglio
The first edition of «Grignolino, the Noble Rebel», an event dedicated to the most anarchic testa-balorda wine of Monferrato debuts today, Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Grazzano Badoglio (Asti). The event will continue throughout Sunday with the presence of 85 producers and over one hundred labels for tasting.
The event is organized by the Ais (Italian Sommelier Association of Piedmont) delegations of Asti and Casale, in collaboration with: the Barbera d’Asti and Monferrato wines Consortium, the Colline del Monferrato Casalese Consortium, the Grignolino d’Asti Doc-Piemonte Doc Grignolino and Monferace Producers Associations.
The sommeliers of the two AIS delegations will talk about Grignolino in all its different nuances, starting from its history, its territories and the different styles of winemaking and refinement.
Barman Nicola Mancinone of the Confessionale Vermouth and Mix Bar will propose some Grignolino-based cocktails to bring even the most reluctant people closer to this grape variety, giving it a new and alternative look.
