Golosaria in Casale Monferrato
Castello del Monferrato is once again the protagonist of one of the most anticipated and followed events of the year: Golosaria. And it does so with important news! Since 2016, in fact, the Casale Monferrato fortress has been able to offer all the spaces of the eastern courtyard renovated and functional, in addition to the magnificent walkways that overlook unparalleled views of the city, the hills and the Po river.
The long and demanding redevelopment works were completed a few months ago and already for the 2016 edition of Golosaria it will be possible to admire some of the areas brought back to their ancient splendor, starting from the three suggestive towers, which will host the craft breweries and the stands of the magnificent producers of Paolo Massobrio’s ilGolosario2016. Stands that will also be set up in the renovated former Chapel and in the Manica Lunga.
A Castle open to the city and the territory, increasingly becoming a tourist – cultural – food and wine center, thanks to events of international standing that have made Monferrato a place to rediscover the riches, peculiarities and excellence of good cuisine.
Every space in the Castle will offer the many visitors who will honor us by participating, tastes, flavors, smells and glimpses of a land that produces quality and goodness: from beers to wines, remembering the Enoteca del Monferrato which has its showcase right in the Castle and which will propose the now unmissable appointment on Saturday evening with the collaboration of StupujTime, from street food in the eastern courtyard to the excellent products of Italian cuisine.
Also to be remembered is Saturday 16 April, at 5:00 pm at the Museo Civico – Sala delle Lunette in via Cavour 5, where the presentation of the volume will take place: Portrait of a Renaissance Prince Ferdinando Gonzaga Duke of Mantua and Monferrato.
The meeting is organized by the Circolo Culturale I Marchesi del Monferrato on the occasion of the Golosaria in Monferrato event and with the patronage of the Municipality of Casale Monferrato and Roberto Maestri and Cinzia Montagna will be present.
